About this converter

PNG is a raster format: it stores pixels. SVG is a vector format: it stores shapes, paths, and curves that scale to any size without getting blurry. This converter traces the shapes in your PNG and rebuilds them as SVG paths using the imagetracerjs library, running entirely in your browser. You can adjust the color detail level in the Conversion Settings panel to control how many color layers the tracer produces. The tracing works best on images with solid colors and clean edges: logos, icons, line art, diagrams. Photographs will produce an artistic, posterized effect rather than a photorealistic copy. Your image never leaves your device.
